Julia Lohmann & Gero Grundmann x Yoshinori Shibayama

Designers Julia Lohmann and Gero Grundmann collaborate to create a new type of Meoto-jawan, a set of food bowls which are a traditional gift to Japanese newlyweds. They are made by bonding together various bowls in a dense cluster, using lacquer as a cement and veneer. The cluster is then cut in half, creating two matching multi-chambered vessels that can serve a wide range of functions, adapting to the changing needs of the couple's life together.

Dimensions: 400 x 400 x H100 mm
